There are more than 1,300 high-rise buildings in downtown Chicago alone. This includes both business and residential buildings, where cheaper and safer recycling solutions are in high demand. To combat increasing waste disposal costs and a significant amount of recyclables, high-rise buildings are installing vertical balers in loading docks and trash rooms.
