Garbage Compactor Service for your equipment
We offer compactor service and compactor repair on all brands of equipment including PTR Compactor, Cram-a-lot compactor and Marathon compactor brands. Most compactor repairs can be done in the field by our trained technicians. They can handle most errors with faulty equipment including leaking compactors, compactor not cycling, compactor not turning on, compactor ram not moving, and many more common errors with your recycling equipment.
Our trained field technicians carry a large inventory of parts for most compactor break downs. We have most standard limit switches, buttons, overloads on hand for immediate completion of the job. All our technicians are equipped with electric meters, welding equipment and a variety of hand tools.
Baler Service for all brands of vertical balers and horizontal balers
Bramidan also offers baler service on most brands of vertical baler and horizontal baler units. Our service department has a vast experience fixing and repairing brands such as Balemaster horizontal baler, American Baler, Max Pak Baler, Maren Baler and Marathon balers. We can fix issues such as auto-tie balers not tying correctly, inserters stuck on horizontal baler, baler not starting automatically and many other common baler issues. For vertical balers, we have experience with Servicing of BACE and Harmony baler breakdowns along with the other brands of units listed above.
Some of the common errors we see on vertical balers include baler not ejecting the bale, broken ejector chains, leaking cylinder on baler as well as the unit not responding.
Local compactor delivery and compactor installation services
Bramidan has its own crew of installation technicians able to handle all your compactor and baler delivery needs. We have our own flatbed truck and forklifts and have experience with compactor installations as well as standing up cardboard baler. We can handle most standard rigging jobs for horizontal balers and compactors.
We have three different forklifts that we use for various service jobs including our large 12,000 lbs Yale forklift. We have access to larger units through local rental companies as needed. Additionally, we have scissor lifts available for jobs with at higher heights.

Preventative Maintenance on Garbage Compactor
PM service is essential for keeping garbage compactors and cardboard balers operational and to extend the lifetime of the recycling equipment. Typical aspects of preventative maintenance includes replacing filter, oil change, replace wear parts such as UHMW wear pads, as well as grease the most crucial moving parts on the machine.
A typical PM on a standard vertical baler or garbage compactor takes a few hours and costs around $300 + potential parts. Some larger equipment including horizontal balers, pre-crusher compactors, auger compactors etc might take longer time to PM and therefore the associated costs could be higher.
