Our Cardboard Balers are Built to Deliver Results

At Bramidan, we design and manufacture cardboard balers that combine high performance with long-lasting durability. A cardboard baler is a baler developed specifically for cardboard, and it can compress waste by up to 90%, making cardboard boxes and other recyclable materials into manageable, transport-ready bales. This means less handling, lower costs, and greater efficiency.

For over 50 years, we have been supporting businesses of all sizes – from local shops to large production facilities – in optimizing their waste management. Regardless of your waste volume, we have the right cardboard baler for your needs.

Each cardboard baler is designed with user-friendliness, quiet operation, and safety in mind – ensuring tight, uniform bales that are easy to move and recycle.

How to Use a Cardboard Baler

  • Cardboard Loading: Remove non-cardboard materials before loading the machine. Whole cardboard boxes are recommended – it saves time and produces bales with higher compaction.
  • Compaction: The machine compresses the cardboard into compact bales and reduces the volume by up to 90%.
  • Baling and Storage: Once the cardboard waste is compacted and the volume reduced, it is baled into a solid and manageable cardboard bale. These are easy to stack and store until they are picked up.

FAQ: Most Common Questions & Answers

How much does a cardboard baler cost?
The price of a cardboard baler depends on the model, size, and features. You can choose between buying or flexible rental options. Contact us for guidance and a no-obligation quote that fits your business.
How do you use a cardboard baler?
A cardboard baler is used to compress cardboard waste into a compact bale. You place cardboard into the machine, activate the press, and repeat the process until the bale is ready. When the machine is full, the bale is tied off and removed. Our cardboard balers are easy to use and come with a user manual and safety guidelines.
Which cardboard baler is best?
The best cardboard baler is the one that fits your company’s needs. Small businesses often need a space-saving and easy-to-use solution, while larger companies benefit from a high-capacity baler. It’s all about choosing a machine that fits the volume and type of cardboard waste you generate. We’re here to help you find the ideal solution for your waste management.
How often does a cardboard baler need service?
We recommend annual maintenance to ensure reliable operation and extend the life of the machine. With a service agreement, you’re fully covered with no extra worries.
What is a cardboard baler?
A cardboard baler is a machine that compresses cardboard waste into dense bales that are easy to handle and recycle. It’s commonly used in retail stores, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities.
What size cardboard baler do I need?
The size depends on how much cardboard waste you generate daily. If you handle around 5–10 boxes per day, a compact vertical baler is usually sufficient. For larger volumes – such as full pallets or continuous cardboard waste – you should consider a larger model with higher press capacity. For very large amounts, a horizontal baler or a compactor might be the most efficient solution.
Can I use the same machine for cardboard and plastic?

Yes, you can easily use the same machine for both waste types, but not at the same time. We suggest making separate bales of solely cardboard or plastic.

While you are baling cardboard, collect and sort soft plastic waste, like shrink wrap. Once you tied off and ejected the cardboard bale, begin to make the plastic bale.

Can I put folded and broken down cardboard boxes in the baler?
For a more efficient work flow, we recommend tossing whole boxes into the baler. Doing this will create a higher density bale, as well as optimize time spent on waste handling.
