Better sorting of cardboard and plastic waste
Following the new waste regulations, it has been important for TL Byg to focus on reducing their mixed construction waste. They chose to rent Bramidan balers and later decided to purchase two, as they “had good experience with the balers”, says Mette Vestergaard. An X25 for cardboard, and a B5W for plastic. The B5 wide was chosen specifically for its wide opening, allowing plastic sheets to be thrown in directly.
By sorting cardboard and plastic, TL Byg achieves savings in handling cleaner waste fractions, thereby contributing to less combustible waste.
Easier to empty and handle Bramidan balers
TL Byg has previously had a baler from another brand. With their new Bramidan balers, they experience that “more employees than before are using the balers, plus they are easier to empty and handle than the old balers we had”, says Mette Vestergaard.
The balers were also placed centrally in relation to the waste source, making it even easier for the employees to use the balers.
Important to get the balers in company color
TL-Byg needed to have the balers in their company color, which was crucial for the owners.
“They actually look quite nice,” says Mette Vestergaard, Sustainability Manager.
At Bramidan, it is simple and easy to have balers customized in any color. We do this precisely because we know that it can mean a lot to our customers.
