    Monitor & Analyze Your Equipment

Make the most of your equipment with our intelligent monitoring solution. We call it BRA-IN, Bramidan Intelligence. With BRA-IN you can make faster and better decisions, reducing your costs of operation while minimizing your impact on the environment.
In our business BRA-IN is short for Bramidan Intelligence, and a collective name for our special developed IOT system. This links all connected compaction equipment with IT systems, providing you with a 360 degree view of your equipment minimizing direct and indirect waste handling costs over time.

Combine our BRA-IN services to fit your needs

    Remarkably Low Noise Level
Most balers run at around 70-80 dB. At that level they can be harmful. People do not think to wear ear protection while running a baler, and with our baler you never have to, as we have mitigated the noise.
Many people miss the significance of the low noise levels you get when choosing a Bramidan baler. With the prevalence of earbuds and other devices in our ears most of the time in our leisure, hearing loss is a serious threat. What most people don’t understand about decibels is that their calculation is at a ratio. So the difference between 1 decibel and 10 is a lot in sound comparison.

    FAQ
    VERTICAL BALER X25 HD
    Most Common Questions & Answers
Welcome to our FAQ section, designed to provide quick answers to questions you might have.
If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us directly. Your queries matter to us, and we’re here to help!
Can your machine weigh the bales for me?

No, our balers do not have a built-in scale. However, the bale size and weight do not fluctuate by much and will usually be the same.

Our BRA-IN monitoring solution allows you to view the average weight and number of bales made in your baler each week and/or month. You can also create reports for recycling compliance.

How much noise does a baler make?

All of our balers are usually very quiet and can be placed in a variety of work environments without causing a disturbance.

Our B-series vertical balers have a very low noise level that never exceeds 57 – 68 decibels. The noise is comparable to that of a vacuum cleaner or air conditioning system.

Our X-series vertical balers have an even lower noise level that does not exceed 59 decibels. The noise is equivalent to conversational speech.

    Do you do rentals?
If you aren’t ready to invest in a baler, we offer both rental and leasing options. Please contact a member of our sales team for more information on renting and leasing a machine.
Do I have to tie the bales myself?
Yes, our balers require manual tying. However, it is very easy and quick to tie a finished bale with our unique tying system.
What is the difference between a vertical baler and a horizontal baler?

The main difference between the two baler types is the direction of their press stroke.

Vertical balers compress waste materials with a vertical downward force. Waste materials are thrown into a chamber and a press plate moves from the top of the chamber towards the bottom. When a cardboard bale or plastic bale has been made, it is tipped out of the vertical chamber onto a pallet.

Horizontal balers process waste differently than vertical balers. Recyclable waste is thrown into a hopper, and a platen from the side compresses the material with a horizontal force until a bale is complete. The bale is then tied off with wires and pushed out of the machine on two guide rails.

With regard to waste types and volumes handled in vertical balers vs. horizontal balers, they can process many of the same waste materials. Horizontal balers can compact larger bales and a higher volume per day than vertical balers. Furthermore, horizontal balers can be used with in-ground or above-ground conveyor belts, shredders, and air systems. Such applications provide convenience for the consumer and often require less manpower to operate.

But vertical balers take up far less space than horizontal balers, which allows them to be easily used in wider variety of applications than horizontal balers.

When choosing the proper baler, there are several questions to answer. Contact our specialists – they are ready to help you find the type of baler that will best suit the needs of your individual business.

How do I know when the baler is full?

When the baler is full, the orange full-bale indicator light located under the start button will blink. The press plate will also stay in the down position. This prevents the chamber from being overfilled.

We also offer our BRA-IN monitoring solution, which automatically updates you when your machine is full. You will receive a text or email when the bale is finished, telling you it is time to tie off and eject. Our monitoring solution also allows you to notify your recycler or hauler when an agreed upon number of bales are ready for pickup. Learn more about BRA-IN Bramidan Intelligent Monitoring Solution.
